Prayer times and Islamic date data come from the Aladhan API. Currency data comes from open.er-api.com. Neither service receives any information that identifies you personally — only a generic request for public data. If Supabase Auth is enabled, your account data (email, login sessions) is stored with Supabase, subject to their own privacy policy.
You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting privacy@haqkiawaz.example.com. Tip line submissions marked anonymous are not linked to identifying information in the first place, so there is nothing to delete beyond the submission itself.
Comments and letters are retained as long as the associated article is published. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Tip line submissions are retained only as long as needed for the associated investigation.
